structures.A major benefit to customers is C-CAT’s extensive experience base in assisting with designs for manufacturable hot structure components. |
 C-CAT’s experience in Aerospace applications includes thermal-shielding for spacecrafts (i.e. Mars Global Surveyor, Genesis Spacecraft). Other programs in which C-CAT has produced complex components include; X-33 leading edges and nose cap, X-37 flight control surfaces and HYFLY hot structures.

 Through computer model design and trial and error methods, C-CAT is able to assist commercial customers in component feasibility and manufacture of the final design. We have manufactured a variety of components for commercial use such as heating elements, vacuum furnace hot support structures, brake and clutch discs and thermal resistant tubing.
